The SurfToGreen project, coordinated by CSGI, kicked off in Gothenburg on 1-2 October 2024.
The event, hosted by Chalmers University of Technology, brought together all involved institutions to share ideas and plan the upcoming project activities.
This project, supported by the CBE JU (Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking), aims to revolutionize key industrial applications by creating a new range of fully bio-based surfactants. By utilizing renewable biomass-derived building blocks sourced from agricultural and forest by-products in the EU, the project aspires to develop surfactants with over 95% bio-based content.
