The team from CHT participates in WP3 “Synthesis of bio-based hydrotropes and chelates “, testing the new developed hydrotropes and chelating agents in formulations, and in WP4 “Formulations for key applications”, analyzing the physical-chemical properties of surfactants for textile applications and formulating the surfactants into wetting and washing agents. CHT also assists WP5 “Sustainability integration” doing environmental analysis on toxicity. Finally, in WP6 “Industrial scale up, exploitation, dissemination and communication” it scales up WP4 results, with their pilot plant producing a barrel (100kg) of project’s formulation to test at customers.
